Amazon might launch its streaming music service in India

The Economic Times has reported that Amazon is most certainly getting ready to take India by storm early next year with the launch of its streaming music service. Numerous production firm executives have leaked that talks are already under way between the company and local record labels to acquire streaming music rights in the country.
Amazon, in fact, has every good reason to do so; based on a Deloitte report from 2015, it is foreseen that around 273 million people will have subscribed to streaming music services in India by 2020.
Market growth is estimated to reach about $475 million by then.
