Cassette tapes are making a comeback, for real

Hard as it may seem – Cassette tapes are making a comeback, for real. Just when you thought cassette tape was dead and buried, which once ruled the music delivery system of the 1970s, here it is making a real comeback. Not that people aren’t delighted, it’s just that total sales of cassettes haven’t made a real splash yet on Nielsen’s music report even though major labels are beginning to release product on cassette again, which is a good sign anyway that things truly are happening again for the format.
