iTunes is changing its name to Apple Music

Is iTunes changing its name to Apple Music?

As per latest news coming from Apple, there were stories of it discontinuing iTunes service and this left many ardent followers quite dismayed. For them iTunes is their daily dose of music and not having it around is surely a cause of worry. Such people were left wondering if they would have to do without their dear friend or whether the company has some other plans. For such people, we bring the secret behind this announcement from Apple.

At Beatrising we would like to confirm to you that there is nothing to worry in case of this news. The truth is that iTunes is going to have a change in its name and that’s about it. All its other features and benefits would remain the same. You would not face any major inconvenience as nothing much changes for you at least.

Latest reports suggest that now iTunes is going to be divided into three different apps. These are going to be named as Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts. The features of iTunes that made it so popular are being included in these three apps. They are much more focussed and guaranteed to give you an extra strong experience of listening to music.

What you get

Some features from iTunes would remain constant in these three apps. Apart from them, there are a few new things that would be seen and let us have a look at them.

  • Any music that you may have imported or purchased would not be lost. You would find it intact and transferred into the new Apple Music app.
  • Sometimes listeners create their own playlists. This is to avoid searching for their favorite tracks again and again. If you too have done so they would be moved forward to the Apple Music app. Nothing is lost just presented to you in a totally new and innovative manner.
  • Mac, iOS, PC, and Apple TV would still have the iTunes music store. If you want to purchase music from there you can do so.
  • Your existing iTunes Gift Cards and iTunes credits are not changed or modified. They are just carried over to the new apps making the transition very easy for you.

Beatrising team would like to assure you that this step from Apple is not going to hamper your music interests in any manner. You still get the same old benefits but within three and totally new apps. If you want to know more about this change you can get in touch with us. Listening to music may be your passion and we would help you continue to nurture that.
