Spotify has taken over the tech business Loudr

The San Francisco-based Loudr has been purchased by the streaming company for an undisclosed fee.
Since its founding in 2013, Loudr has been creating products and services for content creators and aggregators, and offering music services so they can easily identify rights holders, secure mechanical licenses, and pay royalties to music publishers. Through proprietary technology, publishing metadata is automatically processed, then sound recordings are matched to compositions on behalf of publishers and songwriters.
