Streaming is why the global music business is about to explode

Goldman Sachs has released a new report which, compared to previous forecasts, strongly predicts a 16% rise in global revenues from paid music streaming, reaching $28bn by 2030.
Over the next 13 years these revenues will most probably soar by more than 500%, as predicted by Goldman.
Total paid streaming subscribers are are also foreseen to hit 847m by 2030 – up and over 700m more than what was seen in late 2016.
Total annual streaming revenues, including ad-funded, are predicted by Goldman to reach $34bn by 2030, making the recorded industry overall worth $41bn a year.
