Apple is doing away with the download option on iTunes Music

The fact that ‘people have stopped buying’ has made Apple executive Jimmy Iovine opt for a shut-down. A firm shut-down date of the iTunes music download store is in the planning stages, as sources inside the company have hinted at.
These same sources had previously alluded to an ‘early 2019’ shut-down, whereas now, based on internal workings, it seems clear that March 31st, 2019 is when the service will start being phased out.
