Beatport takes over Pulselocker

A strategic deal has been sealed with Beatport’s acquisition of Pulselocker, which foresees that DJ streaming and the subscription service’s patented technology will be available for use in its own streaming service before the close of this year.
An integrated music “locker” is what Pulselocker has created with its software, allowing DJs to access a number of different performance software applications, such as Pioneer DJ’s Rekordbox, Serato, and Virtual DJ, just to name a few. Thanks to this purchase, Beatport can now create and offer an advanced DJ experience for its customers, thereby moving beyond just digital downloads as far as company product offerings is concerned.
