SFX postponed the Beatport sale

Now that SFX Entertainment has come up on top regarding its finances, it has announced that it has scratched its plans to sell the digital music service Beatport. The sale of Beatport appeared to be imminent as a result of SFX filing bankruptcy at the beginning of the year.

Just a few months ago in April, news had it that the Beatport sell-off process was moving along nicely. Things changed radically, however, in May when SFX postponed the Beatport sale, stating that even though offers were still being considered, the dance music platform was officially not up for grabs anymore.
