Instagram launched a new feature known as Live rooms. It allows the users to increase the Instagram live interactions to around four participants. This means the labels and DJs can chat with about three of their fans at one time which is a big deal. Earlier you could go live with only one participant, and now the number of participants is increased, meaning better exposure for labels and DJs.
The purpose of the Instagram Live room is relatively straightforward. It allows more creative exposure like starting a talk show, hosting question-answer sessions, or conduct jam sessions. Using Live rooms, the viewers can also buy badges for the hosts and use features like shopping and live fundraisers.
Just swipe towards the left and pick up the ‘Live camera’ option. Now add a title and tap on the rooms icon so you can add guests to the room. When the live starts, your name appears on top while the rest of the participants show below it. During the live, the viewers can even access your guest’s accounts. With the Live archive feature, you can share live events to IGTV, save them to the camera roll and delete the stream if required.
Live comments by default show as on and will show in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. You can always turn off the comments if they disturb you. If you want, you can title your live with a new title, and it will show in the same manner. The live rooms have a fresh look and feel, and camera tool icons have been moved as well.
