Yet another latest feature helps the broadcast archiving which is for nearly 30 days just like for Stories. Added improvements are made to offer and recommend fresh live streams to all IG users.
These multiple Instagram Live creators wished to elongate their sessions to more than a normal session of 60 minutes and that too uninterrupted.
The change has brought in competition with time limits given by Facebook for live streaming through mobile devices, which is 4 hours. When the live streaming happens through an API or computer, the time limit is extended to 8 hours by Facebook.
With elongated time limit is available for all creators across the world, according to Instagram the creator’s account needs to have a good reputation to make most of this feature. It means the account shouldn’t have a record of policy or intellectual property violations.
Similar to this transformation Instagram is going to update a new section in IGTV as – “Live Now” at the end of all live streams to let direct users get access to increased live content. Also, Instagram is planning to add another useful option to help creators to archive live streams for 30 days.
