Spotify is a leading platform for artists and listeners to meet. Earlier there was only one playlist created by the editors but Spotify has decided to change the entire scenario.
It is with this thought that now some playlists would be customized according to the tastes of the listeners. This means that no two playlists would be similar as each has been prepared keeping the tastes in mind. Now artists and labels get a better chance to show their offering to the right audience. These personalized playlists have increased the number of artists featured by 30%. Also the number of listeners who look for a track after hearing it on a personalized playlist has also risen by 80%.
Whenever a new song gets added to the playlists it won’t reflect one very listener’s playlist. Links to these personalized playlists would be created so that the artists can share them with their fans. Now whoever clicks the link would see the personalized playlist with that song on top.
When songs would be added to the playlists the listeners would get a notification informing about it. In this way the listeners do not have to put in much effort yet they get a chance to know everything about what is happening in their favorite music artist’s life.
