New Creator introduced by Spotify Greenroom
Spotify Greenroom has introduced a new option for a creator with the service to get paid.
Spotify is into audio apart from music. It’s the newest undertaking in this kingdom called Spotify Greenroom is a new feature wherein the service has offered different options for Greenroom creators for getting paid.
What it is all about?
Greenroom is the latest app that allows you to host/take part in live discussions wherein you can speak about the things you like with your fans or other artists in personal virtual rooms.
Speakers present in the room would be visible on the top of your screen as circled profile icons, whereas listeners would be seen below in smaller icons.
The moderator gets moderation controls, mute options, and the capacity to get listeners on stage while live audio sessions are going on. Rooms can host around 1,000 & Spotify planning to increase the number in the future.
Greenroom is available on devices like Android and iOS in 135 plus market across the world. The best thing is that you don’t even need a Spotify account to access or download the app.
Greenroom is quite different from other apps of a similar type. This is because it provides a live text chat feature that can be turned ON/OFF by the host whenever they want to. Also, hosts can request for audio file for every live audio session after it concludes. Next, they can edit it to convert it into a podcast episode and this is the biggest advantage.
The clubhouse has introduced its payment services for the users to donate to creators directly and 100% of what they earn solely belongs to them. Spotify has opposed to Greenroom Creator Fund. It varies from payment in three different ways
- Payouts are set on the live content consumption and the number of people who listen or watch the creator’s room.
- Weekly calculation of distributions takes place to identify creators building their audiences.
- Lastly, Spotify claims that it is creating the fund to help a large network of creators get paid.
